KATY PERRY admits to celebrity news that watching her new concert film, “Part of Me 3D,” was not always very fun for her. After all, her divorce to RUSSELL BRAND was included in the movie.

When Katy wrapped up the filming of her new concert documentary that chronicled her life during her recent “California Dreams” tour, which finally premiered in Los Angeles this week, she insisted to keep even the not-so-fun parts.
That means she refused to cut out the parts where she talked about her divorce from Russell Brand in the middle of her tour.
After watching the film again at the premiere, Katy admitted to PEOPLE:
“It’s not always very fun [watching the footage]. It’s not like going out with your friends and having a drink and having a great time, but it’s important to show that real people sometimes have to go through things in order to achieve things. Nothing great comes easily.”
Katy, who was very hands-on during the creation of the film, continued:
“I didn’t give up any creative control. I was in the edit bay every single time. I do everything myself. I’m a control freak.”
After everything that she’s been through, the pop star reveals that a break could be what she really needs right now. She joked:
“I think I’m going to go into a cave after this, which might be appropriate. It might be a little bit cooler than this. I would love to be in a beautiful, unplugged place where there’s not a lot going on so that I can get back in tune and hopefully write some good songs.”
A creative vacation… We like it. Definitely sounds like something Katy would need, don’t you agree?
