KATIE HOLMES was worried that her husband TOM CRUISE was going to send their daughter SURI off to a Scientology boot camp, which was one of the reasons why she’s asking for a divorce and sole legal custody of their child.

Star news reveal another reason why Katie filed for divorce from her husband, Tom—the actress was scared that he would send their 6-year-old daughter, Suri, to a very strict training camp alone with a Scientology org called the Sea Organization that would teach her the ways of her dad’s church for an indefinite amount of time.
As previously reported, Katie reportedly wants out from the marriage primarily because of her husband’s controlling ways and because Suri has reached the age when she can finally be taught the ways of Scientology.
And if Suri‘s mom can help it, that won’t be happening at all.
TMZ reported about the organization:
“Sea Org, as it is known, is where the highest levels of Scientology are taught and kids as young as five can be sent to live there … without their parents — and our sources say Tom is a big fan.”
The report continued:
“The Sea Org has been often compared to a boot camp and several ex-Scientologists (including Oscar winner Paul Haggis) have been outspoken against its military-like conditions.”
Military-like? Alone? Now what kind of mother wouldn’t be worried about putting her kid through that?
