Mrs Alice Koroma, mother of the President, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, passed away last night. She was 80 years old.
Mrs Koroma, Who was always a mother to all, had a lifetime responsibility bestowed upon her by God. God gave President Koroma and all those who were fortunate to be around her a gift and we are thankful. Mama Alice Koroma was a loving, caring and Godly woman, whose Christian values and beliefs, runs deep in her son, Ernest Bai Koroma, President of Sierra Leone.
Mama Alice is gone but her legacy lives on. For Revelation 14:13 tells us that, “And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
To the Koroma family, Our God cares about us. No matter what is happening, he never leaves us. Scripture tells us God knows what is going on in our lives and is faithful. As you go on quietly remembering our dear mom, remember that the Lord is good and kind. He is your ever-present protector in times of need.
